Code 8: Part II

İlk filmle aynı tadı veriyor fakat son kısmı ve sonu daha iyi olduğu için bir tık daha iyi olmuş diyebilirim onun haricinde ilk filmde yazdığım herşey geçerlidir.

Wanted to like this more than I did. Enjoyed the first one, so had moderately high hopes. Just felt stuck in the mud and despite all that was going on it was dull. There were redeeming aspects, so not a total failure, but a minor disappointment. All that said, it was nice to see the Amell bros make another one. 5.3.

Instantly forgettable, this film does somewhat come to life in the final act. It’s absolutely not enough though, and the film is still completely trash.

It expands the world quite a bit and allows for a story that makes sense. What a brilliant execution of said story and each actor is given plenty of opportunity to shine. Stephen Amell plays a great morally corrupt character and truly keeps the tension building because we never quite know which side he is on. Well made, the power use looks amazing and the new characters keep the film grounded. Truly great storytelling.
