Citizen Ashe

Well crafted and poignantly emotional portrait of Ashe makes an interesting footnote to the O.J. extended documentary, providing a more concise but still compelling portrait of Ashe's initial hesitancy, but ultimately full-blown support and activism in the civil rights arena, with a colorful array of talking heads almost helping you forget about the absence of the central character, until the surprisingly raw and touching finale, which provides the perfect emotional capper to this story.
