A mildly-engrossing Balkan light family drama with touches of Kusturica. The characters and their relationships take time to reveal themselves, but just when everything is starting to click, it becomes clear that Tanovic is more interested in painting a political portrait of his country at this critical point in its history. The message ends up being bigger than the characters - but it's still interesting on both levels. More an observational than narrative-driven piece, but still watchable.
