Cinderella Cinders

Comedy short from the short-lived Reelcraft Pictures company featuring the zainy comedienne Alice Howell. She way over-acts, but the slapstick lady shows she can take a fall just as well and the buys of silent comedy! A true character, she is! Here she's a cook/maid who gets to dress up and pretend she's a countess.... and get all drunk in the process! A good showcase of Alice Howell talents, a comedienne that was highly respected by her peers, but largely forgotten today.
