Child of Grace

Decent family drama pulls a minor swiftie in its final act, introducing elements of Christian analogy and morality which don't tie together convincingly with the rest of the film; at its heart, it's an above average telemovie, which gets all of its mileage out of its sincere, persuasive performers (though, perhaps through no fault of his own, Levine can never be credible as a good guy 'average Joe'). A lack of conflict and urgency also bogs things down after an engaging first act.
