Detective Chick Carter finds himself on his most exciting case when Sherry Martin, a singer at the Century Club, reports the robbery of the famous Blue Diamond, owned by Joe Carney, the owner of the nightclub. Joe planned the theft in order to pay a debt to Nick Pollo with the $100,000 insurance money he would collect. Sherry double-crossed Joe by wearing an imitation one, while she threw the real one, hidden in a cotton snowball, the Nick during the floor show. (imdb)

Oh, how easy to escape licencing. This was supposed to be a Nick Carter story, but they were unable to make the deal with the franchise owner, so they changed this to Chick Carter, with no other changes. They're all chasing lipstick snowballs. Almost the entire time. Too thin plotted for something lasting around 4 hours. Got the typical enjoyment which comes from this style of serials, but it's not one of the greats.
