A fun light hearted look at life, romance and smoking in Hong Kong. The story is good and the actors all do a good job but the pacing and story structure hurt the film. It would've helped if they had gotten rid of the vignettes.

A dull piece of fluff.

This Hong Kong romantic comedy about two smokers falling in love is incredibly delightful. Its urban setting and charming dialogue makes it feel like a cross between Chungking Express and any Woody Allen film. It's cute, funny, and very heartwarming.

Light like a cigarette smoke (until it gives you a cancer) urban dramedy about modern dating. Ho-Cheung Pang is a modern auteur, his films always feels in touch with audiences. Puff is my least favorite of his films, mostly because there is not enough humour, or not enough drama for my taste. It just doesn't leave anything after the credits roll.
