Charlie Chan in Paris

Another solid entry that doesn't offer much unique beyond a clever trio of villains and a rather spectacular Apache dance near the beginning. Otherwise nothing new or interesting to the series.

"Joy in heart more desirable then bullet" - Charlie Chan showing he's a man of wisdom! But he mostly talks about donuts.... A very good Charlie Chan mystery. Good humor and polished production with a nice little Apache dance thrown in for class. This episode in the series introduces Charlie's son Lee Chan (Keye Luke) and Warner Oland seemed to enjoy working with Luke who spoke with a perfect American accent compared to Oland's very broken dialect. The mystery was obvious, but smart.

"Charlie Chan in Paris" is a formula murder mystery that delivers the film you expect with donuts added to the mix.
