Cavalry Charge

A clumsy Civil War era western for Ronald Reagan to charm his way through. It just wasn't a good fit for him. He was always better in a more urban setting, so this didn't feel as authentic, even if he was a horseman outside of Hollywood. I guess his performance was too light for the rugged surroundings to really capture the imagination, even if there was always a comic touch to The Last Outpost/Cavalry Charge. Regardless of my enjoyment, this was still a hit at the box office.
