While the story is absurdly confusing, the action and camera work are equally a sight to behold and vomit inducing.

I think that style can be substance. I want an action movie to have inspired choreography and either gritty or outlandish set pieces, maybe a mixture of both, depending on the style. Carter has that in spades, and the action is a lot of fun. But it’s also way too long, which itself wouldn’t be a problem if it didn’t just draw things out. The story is whatever, but it leads to vehicle chase after vehicle chase, and they’re cool, but it gets repetitive. The Villainess was tighter than this.

Standard forgettable action flick. Physics in this movie make no sense. newton turns in his grave. Camera work is fast & shaky. They clearly experiment but to me it's hit and miss. Some of the cuts are horrible: guy jumps off bike to grab someone, we see him fly through the sky, next a hardcut , he holds the girl in his arms. They tried to make it appear as one fluent shot but it just does not work (rewatched scene at 0.5x speed). The story is a letdown. All ingredients of generic movie.
