Carry on Cowboy

Another typical Carry On farce, which isn't a bad thing at all. The cowboy settings work well and the typical casting fits well into the roles provided, Sid James is his usual self and Bresslaw makes a surprisingly convincing Indian as Big Heap's son Little Heap. There a few niggles with the production values and the setting is obviously far from the Wild West, but with the casting and humour you can't help but enjoy it even if the series is already in its eleventh incarnation.

Fairly average Carry On littered with references to all the classic Westerns.

Average for a carry on film. Usual toilet humour with an extra camp Charles Hawtrey and Chief big heap. Most of the scenes are clearly Dorset rather than dodge city .. but then I suppose thats not really the point.
