Carry On... Up the Khyber

Generally considered the Carry On team's finest hour, this satire on the Raj sees rebellion breaking out in the Kalabar region when it's revealed that the feared 3rd Foot and Mouth regiment actually DO wear underwear beneath their kilts! It's unsurprisingly crass and broad, but there are some extremely funny moments to be found - especially the climactic sequence where the local governor (Sid James) hosts a dinner party while his home is under attack...and absolutely refuses to notice.

One of the better Carry Ons. Bresslaw stands out as usual and seems particularly adept at taking these kinds of roles.
