Carnival in Costa Rica

A joyous colorful caricature of Latin culture. All fluff, but done in that charming old school way.

A second rate (at best) musical that makes the most of the Latin jazz craze and actually has a few good tunes. The leads are mostly all appealing, even if Haymes if not anyone's idea of the ideal man. It serves it's purpose and entertains for it's modest run time. It has one novel touch ... the central love triangle is resolved off screen.
