Careful What You Wish For

Your average "straight to DVD Sunday hangover movie"!

The first 20 minutes and the end were not that good, but there was some interesting buildup before the mediocre ending. Though I saw pretty early on where the danger was coming from, so a lot of the interactions that follow just confirm it instead of leaving me wondering. Not a fan of the actress though.

With Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers in the lead I almost didn't watch this, but with dangerously alluring Aussie soap star Isabel Lucas by his side I was enjoying this. They could definitely done more to establish and bring personality to it's characters, but the situation is an well proven one and worked well within this setting for a okay throw-away thriller.

A young man gets more than he bargains for when he has an affair with the wife of his employer. She is young, sexy, gorgeous and irresistible. They sneak away every chance they get. Then one day he is confronted with the husbands death and he has to make some tough choices, to stand by the woman he loves or do the right thing. The ending was really stupid and entirely unconvincing, but the movie was entertaining up to that point.
