A nice sea adventure, but drowns in a little too much melodrama when they could have gone with a more entertaining route with Ernest Torrence there as the Captain. But it's the story of Lars Hanson and a lower-classed girl that becomes the focus. And that was good too, but this did have the foundation to be something more.
