A charming little puppet show. Doesn't become as adventurous as one might have hoped, but Captain Morten and the Spider Queen (2018) is an alright attempt. The ideas certainly should have resulted in something more thrilling than this. There was just something missing to take advantage of the material they were working with. The magic never happens.
