Canada Vignettes: Log Driver's Waltz

YES! I saw this on a nightly basis in between Fraggle Rock, The Raccoons and Hockey Night in Canada!

No film gives me a greater sense of national pride.

Among the most memorable of the canadian vignettes, and looking at it now it does have a catchy tune and amusing animation, but there's not much more here.

Wow, Log drivers have some pretty crazy moves!

I cannot connect to the cultural impact that log drivers might have for Canadians, however I like the waltz and the animation is interesting.

Like joseywales, I must've seen the Log Driver's Waltz about a million times on Canadian TV growing up in the 80s. My sisters still know all the words to the song. Apparently, the Log Driver's Waltz "pleases girls completely".
