The only anti porn skin flick you’ll ever see. An actually surreal nightmare of a movie. All loneliness. How it cuts so deeply to the core of everything wrong with porno is crazy especially since it came out in 1982. Thanks cathode for programming it

So it's Behind the Green Door mixed with Mad Max, with the Master of Ceremony from Cabaret thrown in because why the hell not and with a smidgen of actual relevant plot added to the mix. It's incredibly un-hot and nobody except the guy playing Max could act their way out of a paper bag, but it's worth a watch for the batshit visuals alone.

A black hearted masterpiece, a nasty, nightmarish satire of the entire pornography industry and 'civilised' society's conflicting opinions about it. The repetitive shots of the "sex negatives" and their sad eyes and desperate faces really bring a sense of doom to all the boners, tits and money shots. Bleak as hell.

A surreal nightmare that exposes the abject loneliness of watching pornography. Excellent production design and acting, interesting story as well. Explores themes that I feel could only be adequate explored in the pornography genre.

It's considered a classic, but for my money they spend way too much time pointing the camera at the bored faces of the Sex Negatives watching from the audience (one of whom is an uncredited Richard Belzer). Some of the stage acts are interesting, but the sequel is much better.
