"Cabin Fever 2" retains the same disgustingly awesome effects as the original, hell it even keeps some of the humor. But I won't kid anyone, even the original wasn't high brow entertainment, it was a specialized horror flick for goreheads with a self-aware humor. For a sequel to a movie like that, this one fills those shoes fine enough for my tastes. My dirty, disgusting tastes.

Look, if your one and only selling point is gore, at least have some fun with it, and at least SHOW us the gore. Stop cutting away, and give us more than just people puking blood.

Literally made me puke. Still pretty decent.

Tasteless garbage with a Born to Be Alive montage, and it's so much better than the first one.

More of a silly/lighter tone than the original, which doesn't make it work as well, but it's still quite fun. Not amazing like the first one, but good in a different way. The lead was surprisingly good as well, and likable, which always helps.

While the first one was great and original then sequel suffered from a lack of budget and some bad editing, still fun tho.

Not that the original Cabin Fever was Psycho or anything, but it deserves better than this. Aside from a few ha-ha gross-out sight gags, there is nothing, and I mean NOTHING salvageable from this film.

In the beginning there was a sense that this would do what sequels should do and expand on the original in a very imaginative way. However, probably because of the problems with the production of the film, it does suffer from a wafer-thin structure compared to the original.

Some of the influences seem to be not just other members of the horror genre, and some scenes are genuinely effective or amusing, while others are distasteful in a less interesting way.

Every second Giuseppe Andrews and Mark Borchardt aren't on the screen the movie suffers. For some reason they are both superbly entertaining in an otherwise terrible gore-fest. I can't recommend this, even if you liked the first (which I did). Admittedly it's not all bad, there is some decent black comedy and some cinematography and tone that seems oddly inspired by Wes Anderson films. Even so, overall, it's a general waste of time.

The fever is even hotter in this sequel. They really amped up the nastiness of the disease. The gross-out factor was actually a little much for me. Another downside to this movie was that it lost a lot of its campy charm. This wasn't nearly as quotable and funny. I was happy to see Winston return as a character. The idea of the bottled water at a high school also added some fun...

Not as great as the first one, but then again it didn't have any more substance than the first. Worth to see at least once.

Giuseppe Andrews and Rusty Kelly carry this film and turn it into a guilty pleasure similar to Carrie instead of the original Cabin Fever. Copious amounts of gore and comedy coupled with the short run time help the movie immensely. Sadly the prom scene is boring and the rest of the script is flawed with unlikable main characters and completely amateur pacing (whoevers idea it was to have the last 10 minutes be an unrelated subplot should not be writing scrpts)

Mark Borchardt is the highlight of this movie, and the dude can't act for shit. Mark Fucking Borchardt.

Tons of stupid, over the top, gory fun. A bunch of scenes that will make you squirm just like the first one but taken in an entirely different, stupidly fun, direction. Ti West did good.

Even though it's a victim of over-editing, it's still quite a fun, gross for the sake it, B-movie. The penis scene even managed to make me cringe which very few movies can do.

West reportedly wants nothing to do with the sequel that bears his name. Certainly the film displays little of the patient panache that marks his recent effort House of the Devil. There's a nicely realized shot here and there, but most of the film is a jackhammer race through inane gross-out moments and painful cliches. It can be described with a single word that could never be applied to Devil or, for that matter, Eli Roth's original bloodbath in the woods. That word is forgettable.

Trash-bin cinema at its worst (best?). It has little to do with the first one, and clearly is aimed towards teenagers who love Bride of Cannibal 3 (even if that movie doesn't exist). It is not scary one bit, just gross. Lensing is really weird, that's probably stylistic decision to make this film look really cheap and old.

Ridiculous and boring. No one needs a sequel of a bad movie.
