Buried Alive

This film has a really bad script and the ending is predictable. Some of the acting is bad and the director has people being way to melodramatic at times.

A cheap yawn that's forgotten in a minute. The most notable thing about Buried Alive (1939) was that it was the final nail in Beverly Roberts coffin. She would appear on some TV shows years later, but this was her last movie in Hollywood when failing to become a star with a few big chances at the Warner Bros lot. Most notably WB's first color feature God's Country and the Woman (1937) along side George Brent. I guess she was a bit too tomboyish for the 30s audience.
