A terrible toothache causes Jack Robin to stop his automobile in front of the home of Dorothy Mason. Noticing a flat tire, Jack attaches his automatic pump and forgets about it as he listens enthralled to Dorothy's singing. When the sound of the burst tire brings Dorothy running out, Jack feigns injury so he can be nursed by her. After he leaves the house, and Dorothy's father discovers some important invention plans missing, Harlan Graves, Dorothy's suitor, suggests that Jack stole them.

The Pickford Family were one of the biggest power families in early Hollywood, and even Jack Pickford was a player producing his own films until his wife died tragically and he lost his fire. This was one of those that he produced. Honestly, there is not many laughs here, but there is a certain charm to it. It plays into the likable sad and you get behind him. I'm not going to claim he's anywhere near as talented as his sister Mary, but he had his own thing going until depression hit him.
