Bullet Head

With a bizarre collection of leads in Brody, Malkovich, and Culkin (the baby faced one, not the gangly one), I was thinking this could be a winner of a B-movie, but the days are gone when you could lean on a violent dog to carry your movie. While I'm certainly not surprised this script made it into production, I have no clue how Brody, Malkovich, and Banderas thought their careers tanked so much that they chose to be in this, I imagine that pornographic pictures and blackmail were involved.

Not boring but a better beginning.

Cujo confronts three unlucky criminals. Some of conversations were kind of okay but the Cujo effect and executing entire film was pretty lame.

I thought this was going to be a tense "trapped in a building" movie. Instead it was a criminals swapping stories movie.

They may wax philosophic a bit too much, but every characters monologue delivers good character development. The severity of the dogs strength may not be fully explained, but his POV storyline adds a whole new dimension to the narrative. The scope of the setting works perfectly with the confinement the robbers and the dog feel, and the story unfolds satisfyingly. While it may not be perfect, this movie actually blew away my expectations!
