Commencement?!! Had I known about that baby name when I got my son, that's what I would have called him! The follow-up to Brother Rat (1938) sure is full of cock-ups. So much that it becomes an nuisance. Fun energetic cast, but it's like they try too hard, which takes a lot of the fun out of Brother Rat and a Baby (1940). We do say farewell to two actresses with this early 1940 release. Biggest shame being Jane Bryan retiring for marriage. The other Humphrey Bogart's wife Mayo Methot.
