Broadway to Cheyenne

First gangsters in New York night clubs, then the same gangsters out in cowboy country.... okaaaay..... anyway, this is a starring 'B' production for Clara Bow's husband Rex Bell where the handsome devil can be the hero. His leading lady here is Marceline Day of Buster Keaton's The Cameraman fame. Neither one really convinces, but still more believable then the storyline. But this one is nothing more then a standard good guys vs bad guys of the time. Except you get to see gangsters vs cowboys.

Odd but endearing combo of two of the most popular genres in the 30s - get ready for the gangster western! Sort of an early "fish-out-of-water" entry as the cowboy fights gangsters in New York, only to have the tables turned and the battle head out west. The sheer incongruity of the concept makes this a fun watch, with some amusingly overcranked (I think!) fight scenes the highlight.
