Bridges of Time

One of those compilation documentaries that makes you immediately check the IMDb to jot down all the films you just caught brief glimpses of. It's a testament to the work of these filmmakers, almost unknown outside their home countries, that there is yet still more filmed poetry to uncover and histories to explore. This documentary's choice to revisit some of the original subjects of the past films is inspired - some of the interviews, unfortunately, pale compared to the featured clips.
