Light romantic musical with a exotic twist of Brazilian settings. All shot at Republic Studios, of course, but a they tries it's best to celebrate Brazilian culture in a very Hollywood manner. They used Mexican Tito Guízar as special attraction, singing songs and being the typical fun-loving romantic guy.Virginia Bruce was very Virginia Bruce and didn't really add too much to the romance. Felt Edward Everett Horton presence was more valuable. Anyway, it was enjoyable for what it was.
