Brave Archer

The many colorful characters are a big draw. But with everyone being family, mentor, student, enemy or friend of everyone else the plot of this is overly complicated. The fights while enjoyable are not great enough to make up for the mess the plotting is. While there are two dozens characters, there is not one archer. I probably will have to watch the sequels in the trilogy to get the title and the solutions of the many unresolved subplots. But this wasn't engaging enough to seek those out soon.

The movie was really frustrating, now I know it's part of a trilogy and based on a super long novel but the movie felt way too long while at the same time it seemed to skim over certain parts way to fast. The Legend of the Condor Heroes the story from which this movie is based is much better suited for TV because ...
