Brass Monkey

I found the clumsy execution made it quirky fun. Terry-Thomas was so out-of-place in this darker themed crime drama, it was hilarious. Sadly this was the last film of Carole Landis to release. After this, she killed herself at the age of just 29. To me she was one of the most beautiful actresses of the era. Did have some good roles too. Unfortunately, by this point, it was mainly lower budget affairs that didn't have the touches to take advantage of it's asset. Like Brass Monkey (1948).
