A slightly different western plot then usual for Bob Steele as a adolescent local in love with sweetheart Lucile Browne, and it's kinda cute, but then turns into a P-western regular in no time. In this one George 'Gabby' Hayes is the bad guy forcing himself in on brother William Farnum's home and terrorizes him and Lucile. Then they kill Bob's father and the confusion and chases fill the rest. For so much early potential it turns into a surprisingly dull affair.
