Boys in Brown

Some of the boys being Richard Attenborough, Dirk Bogarde & Jimmy Hanley, you know it's going to be a decent enough crime drama. Wasn't totally fond of it, but there was moments where I did feel the characters. Mostly with the softer touches of the film. So okay, I guess.

Ineveitably dated prison movie derives most of its modern day pleasures from the eclectic cast of stars and future stars of the British film industry; Attenborough is a bland lead, but film is stolen by a typically low-key and oily supporting turn by Bogarde as a slick manipulator and instigator.
