i like some movies of ben affleck. i like Gwyneth Paltrow as person and performer. but this movie is too average for me.

Slow.

Its thin concept sets up a movie without legs to stand on. Paltrow and Affleck have decent performances, but a lot of the proceedings are a bit awkward and don't make a lot of sense. It's better looked upon as a cheap Hallmark flick, because the romance, relationship, and chemistry needed to carry the characters in this movie are missing.

Damn! This could have been better. No chemistry between Affleck and Paltrow. Frankly, I think Paltrow is a terrible actress anyway. Too bad it has such a good concept which is why I watched it in the first place.

Good

It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great. It was your typical middle of the road Hollywood grinding, with nary a soul in site. Also no surprise that Affleck and Paltrow, though dating in real life during the film, have no chemistry together.

Their off-screen romance fueled the chemistry that made this highly watchable

The first and only movie I walked out on.
