Boston Blackie's Rendezvous

Strangler Steve Cochran, in one of his earliest movies, made for a lot darker Boston Blackie experience. I guess the blackface made things even darker. Man, that was a thing during the war years. It was one of the go-to gags for so many B-pictures made during those years. More so than in the 30s where is seemed to be more a exclusive thing to do for big stage stars like Al Jolson and Eddie Cantor. Anyway, this had it's fun moments and then it would go completely psycho on us with Cochran.
