Bosko the Doughboy

Having fought the War in the air a few months ago, it is now time for Bosko to hit the trenches (just like every other cartoon character in town). Those looking for an early dose of WB violence to come will not be disappointed, as this bunch do like drawing their guns, and gags like that dog having its midsection blown away do leave their impression. But the greatest menace of the year persists war or no: not even the battlefield can keep down the Jolson "Mammy"gag.
