One thing I hate about Laurel & Hardy feature films in the forced romance stories they put in them and here they gave up on it! But since they gave up on the hopeless lovers story that meant more screen time for Laurel & Hardy! And that's exactly was a L&H film needs! And there was a bunch of classic L&H moments. The water sneezing, the fish burning, the "mirage", the street sweeping dance and the final buzzing bee's finish! And plenty more. Any fan of the boys will enjoy this one for sure!

Most of the Laurel and Hardy features are saddled with irrelevant romance plots. This one is particularly egregious as it has only really tenuous connections to the boys and it introduces far too much plotting in the second half. That said, I have yet to see a Laurel and Hardy film that I don't like.
