The more I discover of Edmund Lowe's filmography, the more impressed I am. For Bombay Mail (1934) he gets what's pure Agata Christie! The film spends time establishing the mystery before Lowe enters the scene to investigate. We get all the alibis and evidence for the various suspects before the group solution occur. Just like every Christie mystery known to mankind, and I love that scenario. So needless to say, Bombay Mail was a surprising pleasure.
