Bomba, the Jungle Boy

Fun movie with two likeable stars. Great animal footage too.

Johnny Sheffield, the kid from the Johnny Weissmuller Tarzan movies gets his own movie series, as a teenage Tarzan called Bomba! It was a successful film series for Monogram, and pretty much emulates what the Tarzan movies did, only cheaper and with less personality. However, coming the same year as the new Tarzan, it was pretty much an equal experience. At least this actor had a legacy attached to his role, unlike Lex Barker who did not feel like Tarzan on first attempt.
