It plays everything with the exact right amount of seriousness. It's stupid but a lot of fun. Fantastic score and a great performance from Fahey who has a constant undercurrent of unhinged potential but never fully lets it loose. I imagine it's what I look like trying to hold it together at work. Almost forgot the handcuff car chase ridiculousness. Fun movie. Okay, it's not really good.

Best version yet of the old "Hands of Orlac" story. I kid you not. This movie might have gotten the praise it deserves had it not come out at almost exactly the same time the Jeffrey Dahmer thing broke. Unusually fine acting for this kind of movie, so much so that it was even praised in _Film Comment_

Despite it's wacky premise, it's a straight-up thriller that is not bad enough to be a good watch. There is, like, nothing memorable about this film at all.

I feel like Jeff Fahey is who you reach for when you need a B-movie Ray Liotta. God bless him.

This movie is so much fun. The premise is ridiculous and the film just roles with it. Also the soundtrack seems to be from a '50s Science Fiction movie. This is one of two films I watched as a teen that made me a fan of Jeff Fahey.

Really kinda torn rating this one. I like the horror aspects of the film and think they are well done and not afraid to show a little gore. The cast do a good job with their roles. My issue is it's just so hard to believe the whole premise of the posssession, I kept thinking of Idle Hands or The Corsican Brothers and had me giggling.

A competent movie. Asks a bunch of philosophical questions but doesn't attempt to answer them. A bit too self-serious when it should have been more schlocky. It's playing much smarter than it actually is.
