Bloody Wednesday

Oh. But of course. This one has several ratings. *sigh* Not much to say here, as this is just a horrible, no-budget variation on The Shining. It's not a complete ripoff, after all Kubricks film didn't have a snake brushing up against a dudes cock. That's hardly a recomendation, though.

This is one truly *strange* movie. It may not be up there with such agoraphobic epics as Polanski's _The Tenant_ or Kubrick's _The Shining_ (from which this flick lifts), but it displays as much sheer weirdness. Only the cheap, if inevitable, slaughter climax detracts from its mood of sustained dementia.

Inspired by James Huberty's McDonald's massacre in San Ysidro, made appropriately enough by filmmakers in San Diego (just a few miles north of the actual site). I used to walk by some of the locations used in this movie on my way to school. Incredibly cheap and inept, and makes you wait the whole movie for the guy to walk into the restaurant with the submachinegun, and that's so badly done that the gunshot sound FX are out of sync with the gun.
