The dialogue's so stilted it would require talented actors to pull it off, but Boll can't seem to get even experienced actors to deliver a good line reading. Everyone's German accent is awful & Clint Howard speaks in mostly unnecessary exposition. The action scenes - as usual - are nothing special & a big question hanging over the whole story is why doesn't the vampire Nazi just bite & turn all his soldiers? The lead curses & Boll puts in 2 gratuitous sex scenes, but it doesn't help.

It's a better movie than the second film, but not quite as good as the first one. Granted, we're talking about terrible movies, and "good" really just means "enjoyable" in this case, but I did actually have some fun with this movie. It has some fun action scenes, it isn't at all bloated, it embraces its cheesy, B-movie-ness, and if you had fun with either of the first two BloodRaynes, you'll probably enjoy this one as well. It's nothing special, but it does the job that it's required to do.

After Rampage (2009), its disappointing to see Boll take a significant step backwards, making a third film in a series which was already terrible. Its the superior film, showing sights of improvement in him as a director - particularly how he tries to concentrate his brutish directorial style - but it feels hollow. There's also a feeling that, in his attempts to make videogame films full of sex and violence, he's not a good genre director when his calling is more unconventional fare.
