Blood of Dracula's Castle

Slow moving, boring horror film from Al Adamson. It took me a couple of attempts to get through this thing. The title is quite misleading as this count prefers to go by the name Townsend, and he and the countess are probably the least menacing vampires I've seen as they have outsourced all the killing. There's a lot of filler which makes the 84mins feel really long. It's not the worst of the worst, but there's very little to recommend, apart from perhaps John Carradine and his reaction shots.

On paper, this sounds like fun: Dracula hiding in plain sight, Addams Family-style, in a castle in modern-day US with his gaggle of monster sidekicks. In practice, it's a dull, plotless exercise in watching people slowly walk around the countryside.

Terrible.
