Blondie's Anniversary

Four Blondie films in a row is probable too much. But that's how many they made in 1947. This one was probable the least fun, but it's not like there is too much difference between these films. They have their style, and it's not very deep. I do think they're running out of ideas of how Dagwood crashes with the postman.

The extremely long running series of Blondie films are kind of like a sitcom from the pre-TV era. They aren't very good, but they are light, mildly amusing entertainment with recurring characters. That said ... this is a weaker entry. The loan shark is named "Sharky" ... that gives you an idea of the general quality of the writing.
