Blondie Knows Best

It's a Blondie film with Shemp Howard as a nearsighted debt collector. Of course I was going to have a good time with this!

They made nearly 30 of these Blondie flicks between 1939 and 1950, all of which are about an hour long. In the days before television, these cheap, continuing comedy series were very much like proto-sitcoms. That's about what you can expect from them. They aren't wonderful or really all that funny, but they take up an hour in an almost unobjectionable fashion.
