Black Water

Grandpa Van Dam makes out with a hot chick followed soon thereafter by ridiculous gun play. Then there is an underwater prison with punching, fast camera switches to more punching, and even more cut away punches. And you can't forget the relentlessly pounding overbearing music. The unconvincing plot and acting will likely annoy you as much as it did me. But, it's not all terrible, it just seemed that way for most of the movie.

I really don't know where to start with this downright hopeless cliche-fest, but a zealous, very probably quarantine-crazed (and, it should be noted, self-appointed) Criticker cop has been knocking at my door again, so hopefully this appeases him somewhat.

Lundgren is wasted and not once does it feel like being anywhere near an actual submarine. (At least have some low ceilings or something.) But some of the action is fine and Jasmine Waltz is gorgeous.

Some of the worst shooting in a movie I ever see.

This movie seems to strive to be a late '80s/early '90s action film and for the most part it works. Van Damme, Dolph, & Patrick Kilpatrick do well in their roles the rest of the cast not so much. The biggest downfall for the film aside from a miscast Jasmine Waltz is the shaky action scenes.
