Á la my relationship with Predator 2, I know this isn't good but I think about them doing 65 tops? "Seven. Seven miles an hour!" or "Rectum? Damn near killed him!" and the Family Guy style long take of Tommy, whoops, I mean Farley falling down the hill. What's the other Predator 2 connection? Oh yeah, Gary Busey.

Retread of Tommy Boy. That film wasn't a masterpiece by any means, but it had its moments. This doesn't.

Yes, it is Tommy Boy 2. The main determining factor on whether you will highly enjoy this movie, find it "OK" or total crap will be, of course, what you thought of the original. No, it's not as good as Tommy Boy but it does has it's share of hilarious moments. I've seen the most grizzled anti-Farley fan belly-laugh during then scene where Spade beats him with the broom. If you didn't guess I love Chris Farley so this movie is all good in my books.

I was/am a fan of the Chris Farley/David Spade movies, so I enjoyed this one. It's not as awesome as "Tommy Boy," but it still has it's share of laughs. It also has Gary Busey.

Anemic comedy has a few stray chuckles here and there (spoiler I guess, but who doesn't love a good "fat guy falling uncontrollably down a hill" gag?) and Farley's poor cousin to John Candy is at least a semi-likable figure, but this is largely a grim plod through a hell of a morass, with an underlying smug cynicism about the political system which might have stung harder if the film had a brain in its head. To dull to be thought of as "bottom of the barrel" but is tempting to label it as such.

Chris Farley and David Spade return to screen in the alternate dimension sequel to "Tommy Boy"(1995). With being just a continuation of the same shtick, but with different setting the movie can't help but seem as just than a lesser version of the former.

If they remade Tommy Boy for 13 year-olds this would be the unfunny piece of garbage we'd be stuck with. Tommy Boy isn't the greatest movie in the world but you could tell the writers at least cared enough to try. This however is just lazy. The over reliance on Farley's physical humor is painful in more ways than one. Don't waste your time unless you happen to be a complete and totally unabashed Farley and or Spade fanatic.

Incredibly dumb but amusing comedy reunites Spade and Farley to capitalise on the success of Tommy Boy. It was supposedly rushed into production, and the seams certainly show; when the creators ran out of ideas they just asked Farley to smash into things. Fortunately, he was an amusing physical comedian with an intense but likeable screen presence, and his natural chemistry with Spade helps one forget that the script is beneath them.

Farley is a good reason to watch as he is electric and great. Spade has a few decent lines and Busey is basically playing himself. If that sounds interesting give it a shot.

I get this confused with Tommy Boy all the time, probably because they're almost the exact same movie. It kinda gets old as it goes on, but it's still nice to look back on the glory days of David Spade and Chris Farley.

There were a few moments in the movie that were comical or enjoyable. But mostly you'll feel that you're watching some Tommy Boy out-takes or repackaging. That's the vibe that you pick up from Farley and Spade who make you feel as though they feel they're just reprising the earlier roles. This is no Tommy Boy.

Sadly, this was a lesser follow up to the hysterical Tommy Boy - but Chris Farley didn't live much past it to redeem himself. Plenty of good Farley moments to justify watching it, though.

The weaker of Chris and David's two films, this movie didn't come near the funniness of Tommy Boy, but was good enough to stand on its own two feet. Oh, and it has Mr. Busey ready to kill anyone that moves. Who doesn't like that? I, for one, love it. Anyway, you should expect dumb, physical comedy and some good laughs throughout.

Chris Farley was horrible. As far as I can tell, he only ever had a career because SNL needed a fat guy to fall down a lot. His schtick is totally unfunny, and so are the majority of his films. David Spade doesn't help.
