Black Oak Conspiracy

Low-energy hicksploitation that never achieves the over-the-top pathos suggested by that rather great poster but goes about its business cheerfully enough. Not very sleazy, though there are some boobs and one rather jarring exploding head. A regional production with a cozy vibe from the authentic 70s small-town Southern locale, not good but a genial time-waster for a rainy afternoon when you don't really want to have to engage with something. Vint provides some wonderfully bad line readings.
