**POTENTIAL SPOILERS**...Tough to discern what really happened to Jack in this flick. That said, I thought it wasn't bad, but I do think it would've been better had they clipped the last 2 minutes from it

FWIW, I think the original "Land of the Astronauts" is actually a better title. There is a story about the troubled protagonist (Arquette) to be told here, and perhaps the movie, in fact, tells it. But the surreal flights, while artsy, by their nature cut one off from the emotional core of the material. And god, I miss the days when movie actors actually had craft. It is indeed difficult to know what really "happened" at the end, but after a moment's reflection, I realized I didn't care.
