Bird of Paradise

Island romance with Joel McCrea falling in love with the exotic native Dolores del Rio who don't know a word of English. A naive tale in a tropical paradise. Slow moving trying to capture the magic of their relationship as they explore and teach each other how to survive alone out in the wilderness. The movie lives a lot on showing the sexy skin and Dolores del Rio is involved in a lot of risqué shots. Bird of Paradise however is not an massive success, but it's far from a bad movie.

Not bad... but if all old movies were this silly and cliched, I'd stop seeing them
