Bird Box: Barcelona

Shit constantly happens, but I never truly felt the danger that was going on. Those were just things that happened in every scene, and you get used to it. Doesn't waste time with the gimmick of the plot, but you also never get close to the people involved, because they'd be dead within a minute, anyway.

it was a great experience. The plot was engaging and kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire film. The acting was superb, with great performances from the entire cast. The cinematography was also stunning, capturing the beauty of Barcelona in a unique and captivating way. Additionally. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed watching Bird Box Barcelona and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a thrilling and visually stunning cinematic experience.

Surprisingly liked this. No it's not as good as the first, but it does some interesting things with the concept of the first. I liked the lead and the concept of his character. And it has a pretty thrilling climax. Not a fan of the last couple scenes though.

Saw 7/14 but title wasn't yet on site: There are some worthwhile moments to be had here, but I couldn't help but feel like the experience was that of a homework assignment due for a class I wanted to drop. Some decent acting by Casas & Campbell, but the slow burn acted as a lullaby so when there was some moments of action I was already half glazed over. I typically enjoy slow burns as well. Fell flat and wasn't nearly as good as the first. 4.1 for me.

More than a decade after LOOPER, this remains the go-to narrative concept for filmmakers wanting to make a genre movie that’s supposed to have a bit of emotional resonance. All other aspects have been put together in quite a mechanical way, too.
