Notes from the first 20 minutes: I've never felt embarrassed for a movie before. Pauly Shore has sexually assaulted 3 women casually so far. I'm watching the moments Stephen Baldwin's garbage career fully died. I hate the 90s. Taylor Negron is the worst (check imdb oh he's dead).

The only thing that could have made this movie worse is if Carrot Top joined Pauly Shore in the biodome. They also seemed to have not gotten the memo that 1990 wanted it bright baggy pants and shirts back...

Pauly Shore and Stephen Baldwin manically spasm their way through this unapologetically awful turd. The only person I know who actually genuinely likes this movie is mentally challenged. I don't mean that as a dig, saying that since he likes this movie he has to be. No, he really is learning disabled. Which means that if you unironically and non-nostalgically like this movie, then you should probably have your head examined.

You ever see those girls who go out with their really ugly friends so it makes them look more attractive. I thinks that's what Hollywood was trying to do by teaming Pauly Shore up with one of the few people I would deem as a worse actor in Stephen Baldwin. With those two leading the charge is it any surprise that this movie sucks?

7 points for Tenacious D and the use of the Safety Dance. It's amazing that studios continued to pump out material for Pauly Shore. It's more amazing that enough people paid money seeing him, that led studios to do this. If you know one of these people, you should ask them to explain themselves, and then make a hard decision on whether you should continue to know them going forward.

(Viewed on 09/02/15): I like stupid comedies, and not as guilty pleasures: I enjoy them in plain view. I can even tolerate a few of the ones starring Pauly Shore released during his 15 minutes of fame in the early 90's. B-D was unleashed when his career was in freefall, and it was understandly the last film of his that was released widely. The reason? It's shit. Complete shit. Not the worst shit ever made, but still shit nonetheless. Unfunny shit. Final-nail-in-the-coffin shit. Avoid (x2).

I like this film more than anyone I know, which says absolutely nothing. Terrible, terrible movie. I rated it so high because I find myself quoting it at random times throughout the day; in a world without standards, that would be "affecting" which is a positive adjective, I guess. One of those movies that you hate so much, you end up sort of enjoying it... like you would "enjoy" a coffee date with an ex-girlfriend that cheated on you multiple times with your best friends.

Everyone by now is aware of the world in a bubble projects which sprung up in the nineties where they tried to recreate jungles and lakes under a glass roof in the desert right? Well thats the setting for this MTV generation comedy. No film which boasts Pauly Shore and Kylie Minogue as two of the main characters was ever going to be tasteful or deeply philosophical but hey, you don't always have to find meaning in a movie.

Slimy, creepy, low-rent “comedy” has a sniggery, leery undercurrent of misogyny which undermines any effort at levity – the premise has a reasonable degree of comic potential, but it is buried beneath Bloom’s inept staging and pacing, and performances from Shore and Baldwin which feel like both actors were left to improvise and riff endlessly (god help us if someone actually wrote this shit!) Atherton and Gibson inject some moderate flair from time to time, but the film is far from saving.

Bio-Dome is a terrible movie that dodges the so-bad-it's-good adage. The stunt casting, bad acting, good premise & sloppy direction (in both plot and practicality) are all insignificant when looking at the film as a whole. The characters are odious & stupid. The "science" absurd & misinforming. It's bad when a film with such a blatant pro-environmental message, makes the viewer sympathetic with humanity's demise. Crude can work, but not when it's seemingly representative of those involved.

pauly shore plays another moron... there are some funny parts, the most memorable moment for me was when they had the party in the dome and while the band was playing this lady was dancing CRAZY... i watched this movie on demand and really watched that 5 second clip about 10 times
