Bimujang jidae

Two children wander around the DMZ. A clunky plot with lots of "they see an x, they meet a y" scenes with no connection between them. Heavyhanded pro-unification voiceovers interrupt the movie several times. The kids acted well though and it was interesting to see the DMZ from inside - it's a complete wilderness. Mostly however only of historical interest.

Oh god this broke my heart.

Like a war version of Zoo in Budapest, it's heart-wrenching, beautiful, and fantastical in all the best ways.
